Bank and accounting file converters.
Bank statement PDFs, bank downloads and accounting files, converted in your browser. Nothing is uploaded. Each converter starts with the format you asked for, and can write the others too.

02 / From Excel
Excel files.
A spreadsheet. Banks and apps lay out their transaction exports in their own way: different columns, headings, date styles and sign conventions.
- Excel to QBOYour transactions are in a spreadsheet, but QuickBooks bank feeds take Web Connect (.qbo) files, or CSVs with exactly three or four columns. This makes a .qbo from any spreadsheet layout.
- Excel to QFXQuicken imports bank transactions as Web Connect (.qfx) files. This turns a spreadsheet of transactions, whatever its columns, into one Quicken accepts.
- Excel to OFXOFX is the bank-file format Xero, Sage, MYOB and GnuCash read without any column mapping. Use this when the transactions are in a spreadsheet but the app wants a bank file.
- Excel to QIFFor Quicken, GnuCash, Microsoft Money, Banktivity and MoneyWiz, which read QIF. Each spreadsheet row becomes a QIF transaction.
- Excel to IIFQuickBooks Desktop imports bank transactions from IIF. This writes each spreadsheet row as a check or deposit between the two accounts you name.
- Excel to TallyTallyPrime does not import a bank spreadsheet as vouchers. This turns each row into a Payment or Receipt voucher in Tally’s own XML, ready for Import, then Transactions.
- Excel to PDFFor printing or sharing the transactions in a spreadsheet as a tidy, read-only document: a paginated transaction report with totals, clearly labelled as a report.
03 / From CSV
CSV files.
Plain text, one transaction per line, values separated by commas (or semicolons, tabs or pipes). Every bank uses its own columns.
- CSV to QBOQuickBooks’ own CSV import wants three or four exact columns and one date style. A .qbo file has no such rules: any bank CSV becomes a Web Connect file that QuickBooks Online and Desktop both accept.
- CSV to QFXPlenty of banks only export CSV, and Quicken wants Web Connect (.qfx). This converts the CSV, whatever its columns, into a QFX file Quicken links to your account.
- CSV to OFXAccounting apps import OFX more reliably than CSV: no column mapping, no date guessing. This turns any bank CSV into OFX.
- CSV to QIFFor Quicken, GnuCash, Microsoft Money and other money apps that read QIF. Any CSV layout works: you see the matched columns before you download.
- CSV to IIFQuickBooks Desktop imports bank transactions from Web Connect and IIF files, not from a bank’s CSV. This turns a bank CSV into IIF checks and deposits, posted to the accounts you name.
- CSV to TallyBanks export statements as CSV, and TallyPrime needs vouchers. This makes a Payment or Receipt voucher from each row, with your bank ledger on one side.
- CSV to PDFA CSV is hard to read and print. This makes a clean, paginated transaction report with totals, labelled as a report and never as a bank statement.
04 / From QBO
QBO files.
Intuit’s bank download for QuickBooks: an OFX file with Intuit’s bank id added. It carries each transaction’s date, amount, payee, memo, check number and the bank’s own transaction ID.
- QBO to ExcelBanks give .qbo files for QuickBooks, but a spreadsheet is easier to search, filter and total, or to send to someone who doesn’t use QuickBooks.
- QBO to CSVCSV opens in every spreadsheet and imports into almost every app. This lists every transaction in a .qbo file with its date, payee, memo, reference and amount.
- QBO to QFXA .qbo and a .qfx hold the same OFX data: QuickBooks wants one, Quicken the other. This rewrites the file for Quicken and keeps the bank’s transaction IDs, so nothing imports twice.
- QBO to OFXOFX is the open form of the same format, for Xero, Sage, MYOB and GnuCash. The bank’s transaction IDs stay as they were.
- QBO to QIFFor apps that read QIF rather than Web Connect: Quicken for Mac, GnuCash, Microsoft Money, Banktivity and MoneyWiz.
- QBO to IIFQuickBooks Desktop takes a .qbo only through Bank Feeds, where each transaction waits to be accepted. An IIF file enters them as checks and deposits between the accounts you name.
- QBO to TallyTransactions downloaded for QuickBooks can go into TallyPrime too: each becomes a Payment or Receipt voucher against your bank ledger.
- QBO to PDFA .qbo file can’t be opened and read like a document. This makes a printable transaction report from it: dates, payees, amounts and totals, labelled as a report and not a statement.
05 / From QFX
QFX files.
The same thing as a .qbo, made for Quicken: OFX with Intuit’s bank id. Quicken reads the bank’s transaction IDs to skip what it already has.
- QFX to ExcelQuicken’s Web Connect files can’t be opened in Excel. This lays out every transaction in a spreadsheet, with payee, memo and amount in their own columns.
- QFX to CSVA .qfx file only means something to Quicken. As CSV, the same transactions open anywhere and import into any app that takes a spreadsheet.
- QFX to QBOQuickBooks won’t take a file a bank made for Quicken. This rewrites it as a .qbo with the Intuit bank id QuickBooks checks for, and keeps every transaction ID.
- QFX to OFXA plain OFX file for Xero, Sage, MYOB, GnuCash and other apps that read OFX, with the bank’s transaction IDs kept.
- QFX to QIFFor software that reads QIF but not Web Connect, such as GnuCash, Microsoft Money and MoneyWiz.
- QFX to IIFBrings transactions downloaded for Quicken into QuickBooks Desktop as checks and deposits.
- QFX to TallyTransactions downloaded for Quicken, as TallyPrime Payment and Receipt vouchers.
- QFX to PDFA readable, printable list of the transactions in a .qfx file, with totals.
06 / From OFX
OFX files.
Open Financial Exchange, the open bank-download format behind QBO and QFX. Xero, Sage, MYOB, GnuCash, Moneydance and most accounting apps read it.
- OFX to ExcelOFX is made for software, not people. In Excel you can see, sort and total every transaction.
- OFX to CSVA plain table of the transactions in an OFX file, for any spreadsheet or app that reads CSV.
- OFX to QBOMany banks, especially outside the US, offer OFX but not QuickBooks Web Connect. QuickBooks only takes .qbo; this adds the Intuit bank id it needs and keeps everything else.
- OFX to QFXQuicken checks for Intuit’s bank id, which a plain OFX file lacks. This adds it, so Quicken imports the file as Web Connect.
- OFX to QIFFor money apps that read QIF, or to move transactions between personal-finance programs.
- OFX to IIFTurns an OFX bank download into QuickBooks Desktop checks and deposits.
- OFX to TallyAn OFX download from your bank, as TallyPrime Payment and Receipt vouchers.
- OFX to PDFA printable transaction report from an OFX file, with totals.
07 / From QIF
QIF files.
Quicken Interchange Format, an older plain-text format. Quicken, GnuCash, Microsoft Money, Banktivity and MoneyWiz read it. It has no account numbers or transaction IDs.
- QIF to ExcelQIF files from Quicken, Microsoft Money or GnuCash, as a spreadsheet: every transaction with its payee, memo, category and amount.
- QIF to CSVThe transactions in a QIF file as a plain CSV table, categories included, for any spreadsheet or app.
- QIF to QBOQuickBooks doesn’t import QIF. This turns a QIF register into a .qbo Web Connect file that QuickBooks Online and Desktop accept.
- QIF to QFXA .qfx goes in through Quicken’s Web Connect, which matches each transaction to your account and skips ones it already has.
- QIF to OFXFor Xero, Sage, MYOB, GnuCash and other apps that prefer OFX to QIF.
- QIF to IIFMoves a Quicken register into QuickBooks Desktop as checks and deposits.
- QIF to TallyQuicken or GnuCash transactions as TallyPrime vouchers.
- QIF to PDFA printable report of the transactions in a QIF register.
08 / From IIF
IIF files.
Intuit Interchange Format: tab-separated text QuickBooks Desktop imports. Each transaction is a TRNS line and its split (SPL) lines, which add up to zero.
- IIF to ExcelIIF is tab-separated text that is hard to read. This puts one account’s transactions in a spreadsheet, one row each.
- IIF to CSVOne account’s transactions from an IIF file as a plain CSV table.
- IIF to QBOMoving from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online? Online doesn’t import IIF. This turns an account’s IIF transactions into a .qbo it can upload.
- IIF to QFXAn account’s transactions from a QuickBooks Desktop IIF file, as a Quicken Web Connect file.
- IIF to OFXAn account’s IIF transactions as OFX, for Xero, Sage, MYOB and GnuCash.
- IIF to QIFAn account’s IIF transactions as QIF, for Quicken, GnuCash and other money apps.
- IIF to TallyQuickBooks Desktop transactions for one account, as TallyPrime vouchers.
- IIF to PDFA readable report of one account’s transactions in an IIF file.
09 / From Tally XML
Tally XML files.
TallyPrime’s and Tally.ERP 9’s exchange format. Each voucher has ledger lines that balance: a debit is written as a negative amount.
- Tally XML to ExcelTally’s XML export is for machines. This lists one ledger’s vouchers, usually the bank’s, in a spreadsheet: date, party, narration, ledger and amount.
- Tally XML to CSVOne ledger’s vouchers from a Tally export, as a plain CSV table.
- Tally XML to QBOMoving books from Tally to QuickBooks? This turns your bank ledger’s vouchers into a .qbo that QuickBooks can import.
- Tally XML to QFXA Tally bank ledger’s vouchers as a Quicken Web Connect file.
- Tally XML to OFXA Tally bank ledger’s vouchers as OFX, for Xero, Zoho Books, Sage and other apps.
- Tally XML to QIFA Tally bank ledger’s vouchers as QIF.
- Tally XML to IIFA Tally bank ledger’s vouchers as QuickBooks Desktop checks and deposits.
- Tally XML to PDFA printable report of one ledger’s vouchers from a Tally export.
