Bank of Baroda statement password

Bank of Baroda doesn’t publish its statement password, so we tested it on a real statement. Two passwords work: one from your name and birth date, one your customer ID.

Short answer

A statement Bank of Baroda emails you opens with either of these. We tried both on a real one:

Two: name + DDMM, or customer ID

Which password is yours?

Either one opens the statement. The first is 8 characters made from your name and birth date; the second is your 9-digit customer ID.

Bank of Baroda doesn’t publish its statement password, as far as we could find on its website and support accounts. These rules come from our own test: we opened a real statement Bank of Baroda emailed, in October 2026.

The password, piece by piece

Each box is one character, as on a bank form. Open “Work out yours” under a password to type your own details: the boxes fill in with your password, right here in the page.

How we know

We opened a real Bank of Baroda statement that the bank emailed, with the first four letters of the name in lowercase plus DDMM, and with the 9-digit customer ID. Either one works.

We tested statements the bank emailed. A statement you download from net banking or the app may use a different password; if yours won’t open, ask Bank of Baroda, and please tell us so we can add it.

Open it and convert it, right here

Drop the locked PDF in the box. When it asks, type the password. The statement opens inside this browser tab and comes out as Excel or CSV (or, with a free account, as a file for Tally), with every row checked against the statement’s own balances.

The PDF and the password stay on your device. Nothing is uploaded, and you can check that yourself in your browser’s Network tab.

Not tested on a Bank of Baroda statement yet

We haven’t had a real Bank of Baroda statement to test with. The converter checks every statement the same way: if the rows don’t add up to the closing balance, it tells you before you download anything.

Still won’t open?

Go down this list before you call the bank. Most locked-out moments are one of these.

  1. Try the other one. If your name and birth date don’t open it, try your 9-digit customer ID, and the other way round.
  2. Type it, don’t paste it. A pasted password can carry a space at the start or end, and PDF readers count it.
  3. Capitals matter. Bank of Baroda says the letters are in lowercase, and PDF passwords are case sensitive. Check Caps Lock.
  4. Two digits each. Day and month always take two digits: the 5th of March is 0503 as DDMM. Use the date of birth the bank has on record.
  5. Emailed, or downloaded? What we show opened statements Bank of Baroda emailed. If you downloaded yours from net banking or the app, it may use a different password.
  6. Download it again. A statement that didn’t finish downloading, or was forwarded and re-saved, can refuse every password. Get a fresh copy from the bank.
  7. Ask Bank of Baroda. Banks change these rules. We checked Bank of Baroda’s on 7 October 2026; if what we show no longer works, the bank can tell you, and we’d like to hear too so we can fix this page.

Questions

Name and birth date, or customer ID: which one?

Either. Bank of Baroda doesn’t publish the rule, so we tested a real statement it emailed: it opened with the first four letters of the name in lowercase plus DDMM, and with the 9-digit customer ID.

Capitals or lowercase?

Lowercase for the letters. A made-up Priya Sharma born on 5 March would type priy0503.

Can I skip the password and download Excel instead?

Bank of Baroda’s internet banking offers Excel, PDF and TXT downloads of your transactions, so you may not need the PDF at all. The PDF is what you need when it was emailed to you or it is all you have.
